Teacher on leave after student shot with Nerf gun

BEAUFORT - A science teacher at Battery Creek High School was placed on paid administrative leave Monday after authorities say he shot a foam dart from a plastic Nerf gun at a student.
The mother of the 14-year-old girl who was hit with the dart said she wanted to pursue assault charges against Jeffery Baker, 29, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff's Department report.
Reports indicate the teacher fired a foam dart from the toy gun toward a group of students who were talking and laughing in his classroom. More... Discount Magazine Subscriptions - Discount Cigarettes & Tobacco - Nutty News Marketplace - Apple iTunes
