Man Convicted in Body Parts Trafficking Scheme


LOS ANGELES - A man accused of carving up cadavers donated to UCLA's medical school and selling their parts to unsuspecting medical research companies was convicted Thursday in the lucrative scheme. A jury found 51-year-old Ernest Nelson of Rancho Cucamonga guilty of conspiracy to commit grand theft, grand theft by embezzlement and tax evasion.
