Police found the girl unharmed in the town of Honningsvag on the northern island of Mageroeya after locals spotted her at 6.30am.
Her aunt – who was looking after the girl and her three young siblings while their mother went on holiday – thought her niece was asleep in bed when the police rang.
“I ran into the bedroom and was devastated when I saw that she wasn’t lying in bed,” she tells the Verdens Gang newspaper. More
