Florida - A Lakeland man has been charged with animal cruelty after witnesses said he tossed several kittens out of his truck Wednesday morning, deputies at the Polk County Sheriff's Office said. David Carl Arthur, 66, was driving his pickup truck toward Highway 98 in Lakeland when witnesses say he drove over one kitten and tossed two others out the passenger side window, deputies said. Witnesses called deputies as they followed Arthur to the Tractor Supply Co. on Highway 98 , where they confronted him. More...
