OPELIKA, Alabama - Veterinary clinics in Auburn and Opelika are trying to fulfill an anonymous woman's last request to find new homes for her 32 cats. The cats were found in containers and carriers on the doorsteps of at least five vet clinics in Auburn and Opelika. A handwritten note signed by a mysterious "Miss R" explained that she had just learned she was dying from cancer.
