Horses are getting their tails stolen


Iowa - Another case of illegal "horse-tail chopping" or trimming or snipping has been reported in northwest Iowa. Whatever you call it, the bizarre crime involves sneaking into somebody else's barn or pasture and cutting off a few feet of the animal's tail. Authorities speculate the thief sells the hair for use on Western-style gear and to extend the tails of show horses. More...
