Brooksville, Florida – Golden Glove boxer Joe DiStefano IV, 20, was arrested at his Brooksville home Wednesday after deputies say he took a few swings at them.
DiStefano’s mother called deputies Wednesday afternoon to say her son was arguing with his live-in girlfriend at the home the three of them share.
The mother said she heard glass and furniture being broken inside the room. When she tried to call 911, the woman says her son took the phone and smashed it on the ground, completely breaking it into two pieces.
